What is ENcourage Foundation®?

ENcourage Foundation® is a nonprofit patient assistance program supported by Amgen and Pfizer that provides Enbrel® (etanercept) at no cost to qualifying patients with no or limited drug coverage.

How do patients apply for assistance from ENcourage Foundation®?

To enroll in ENcourage Foundation®, patients must complete the Patient Application Form and meet program eligibility requirements. The physician must complete the Product Prescription Form or submit an original script.

What are the eligibility criteria for ENcourage Foundation®?

To be eligible for ENcourage Foundation®, you must be a U.S. resident, demonstrate financial need, and have no or limited drug coverage. Qualifying Medicare part D patients may also be eligible.

Maybe. ENcourage Foundation® supports underinsured patients (including Medicare Part D) who have limited coverage for ENBREL in certain situations.

How do I receive my ENBREL?

You must first complete the application process and be approved. Upon enrollment, depending on the instructions provided by your provider, ENcourage Foundation® will either ship the product directly to you or to the provider's office on your behalf. If your provider has indicated that ENBREL should be shipped directly to you, an ENcourage Foundation® agent will reach out to confirm your shipping address and schedule a shipment.

Does ENcourage Foundation® help all patients, regardless of diagnosis?

ENcourage Foundation® will provide assistance for any medically appropriate use of ENBREL as determined by the patient's physician.

How long are patients enrolled in ENcourage Foundation®?

Eligible uninsured patients are typically enrolled in ENcourage Foundation® for one year, starting from the date the Foundation makes an enrollment decision. Eligible underinsured patients are typically enrolled through the end of their plan year.

Does ENcourage Foundation® help with all settings of care?

ENcourage Foundation® is available only to eligible patients treated in the outpatient setting. The outpatient setting is defined as any physician's office, hospital outpatient department, or pharmacy setting.
